Andrew Anderson

President & Director of Operations

Andrew is the President and Director of Operations for Capital Air Express, with over 20 years in the Aviation Industry specializing in Aviation Safety and over 2,000 hours as a commercial pilot. Andrew graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL.

Zacharia McKen

Chief Pilot

Zach is our Chief Pilot and has over 1,000 hours in the Malibu and Saratoga and 2,000 hours total flight time. He is also a CFII and manages initial and recurrent training for our pilot team.

Travis Schoonover

Director of Maintenance

Travis is an FAA certificated Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA) with over 40 years of experience in General Aviation. Travis and the team at Base Leg Maintenance maintain all of the Capital Air Express aircraft.

Jordan Schmalenberger

Company Instructor & Charter Pilot

Jordan is a Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII) and Multi-Engine instructor (MEI) with over 2,000 flight hours and a company instructor pilot.

Pete Anderson

VP of Risk Management

Pete Anderson brings 37 years of extensive experience in commercial insurance and risk management. Pete holds an Associate in Risk Management, specializing in providing tailored insurance solutions for the aviation industry. His vast knowledge and experience in risk management make him a vital asset to Capital Air Express, ensuring comprehensive coverage and risk mitigation strategies.

Rebecca Anderson

VP of Business Development

Rebecca Anderson brings 20 years of experience in retail operations management and customer service leadership. Rebecca graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. Her extensive background in operations and customer service, combined with her leadership skills, make her an invaluable asset to Capital Air Express.

Corey Young

Charter Pilot

Corey is a Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII) and Multi-Engine instructor (MEI) with over 1,800 flight hours.

Franklin Diaz

Charter Pilot

Franklin is a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and also an FAA certificated Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic.
